This experience was the most instrumental in my personal growth throughout my undergraduate career. I have always considered myself to have characteristics of a leader, but taking on so many leadership roles in Delta Sigma Theta turned those disjointed characteristics into a cohesive reality. Upon becoming member of Delta Sigma Theta, I was balancing being a full time student, working over 40 hours week, volunteer work, and other extracurriculars. Rather than taking a backseat in the chapter, I decided to put my talents to use in every way that I saw fit.
