Being happy means that individuals are content with what the things have and are happy with our lives. Happiness is achieving our goals and dreams. It is about spending time with people; sharing old memories and doing things we enjoy Aristotle focuses on taking the grey approach and finding the balance in-between them so an individual can find the path to happiness. Virtues, in general are moral values upon which our habits based on this idea is one of the foundations in our lives that we follow and act upon on a daily basis (Ross). Virtues are important because they are the guides to how we live our lives. People constantly try to improve on themselves but Aristotle tells us that individuals need to understand the overall purpose of life. An example of pleasure is having chocolate cake. The chocolate cake will fulfill us and make us happy and make us smile but eventually when the cake is over some of us will feel sad and feel bad for eating it. An example of happiness is when people work out and start to reach their fitness goals, which motivates us to continue and improves our health. This improves our mood and overall happiness. (Ross) Another example of happiness is when we achieve our goals and dreams to be successful in life. Another way people can increase happiness is through regular exercise and eating healthier which result in having more energy and being able to accomplish more, which results in fulfillment and overall happiness. Another example of happiness is when we embrace who are and understand that it is not things we own that makes us happy but understand more about ourselves and everything around us. This type of happiness can last for a lifetime where as the excitement for partying lasts for only a few
