Definition Essay: Should We Live Free?

What is freedom? Is it an absolute right, or is it an illusion? According to the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights, we have certain freedoms and rights granted to us by laws that men made. But is that really true freedom? If we really had freedom, we would not need a booklet to tell us what to do, right? The way this country is set up freedom really does not exist. Just think about it for a quick second. We have so many laws it is beyond ridiculous, and these laws govern everything we do in our lives from how we travel to what we consume and the list goes on. That is not freedom, it is nowhere close to freedom I call it insanity and one of the biggest lies ever told.

For me, freedom implies thinking for yourself, being inventive, practicing freewill, having experiences, taking journeys, being able to make something and abandon it, to act suddenly, settling on your own decisions, cherishing whom you need to cherish, talking with and cooperating with whomever you like, providing for whomever or whatever you like, being able to extend your insight and energies,

From my perspective, we can live free by regarding others rights to live free too. We cannot overlook the privileges of individuals with who we live in the society with. We cannot just do what we need and disregard other people’s needs. We must also think about other people and their right to be free as well. The thought behind flexible is to be deferential and valuable to society. Freedom is critical to everyone. When freedom is guaranteed, I can think freely, go where I want, and speak my mind without fearing individuals who dislike my opinion. Freedom of thought is among the most crucial branches of freedom. Although freedom is a natural right, caution must be taken when you approach the definition because some people take things a little too far and that can cause problems, checks and balances are important as long as they are not too
