Merriam Webster dictionary defines perfection as the state of being freed from flaw or defect, a vague definition to be certain. Part of why that definition might be so vague is because of how fluid of a word perfect is. Perfection means different things to every individual person with few exceptions. Usually these exceptions come not from an individual viewing perfection in their own way, but from these individuals seeing perfection in the ideas of others. A common example of this is religion. Students who are able to get perfect scores in middle school math and reading classes will likely be moved into an advanced class in those subjects for their first year of high school. Perfection in this sense is a limit. Like how infinity is said to be the limit to how high numbers can go, perfect can be said to be the limit of how great conscientious creatures can be.
