One of the most respected prominent photographers is David Bailey. David bailey was born on January 2, 1938 in Leytonstone,London. His father was known as Herbert Baile. He was known as a tailor cutter and his wife was Sharon, who was a machinist. The most famous genre bailey is known for creating is fashion and portrait photography. Some of his most famous portraits include: The Beatles,David Beckham,Jean Shrimpton,David Bowie,Andy warhol,The Queen,Johnny Depp,Jude Law, and many more. In David's early life , the love of history later influenced his love of photography. The most influential photoshoots of his were the ones with jean shrimpton. The photo of the famous mob gangsters,Ronnie and Reggie Kray was taken by Bailey himself,this is a famous photograph because they were mob gangsters in England. He expertly knew the art of close up portrait, this led to him realising his best known series called Box of Pin Ups. The project was a unique commercial release and he was one of the first photographers to sell prints that way. His technique would consist of cutting off the tops of the people has shot heads and would crop them more than how regular photographers would. This gave the effect where the viewer perceived the impression that the picture were larger than they are. In 1966 a movie was made up of his life,work,and sexual perks; the writer was Michelangelo Antonini. More of his famous work included him shooting well known album covers, the most album cover with recognition is the rolling stone cover including brian jones who died in 1669. In 1772, he was asked to do a nude photoshoot with alice copper involving a snake. He was pleased with the photoshoot and offered him to do another one for his album billion dollar babies.
