Would we, as human beings, be able to live without all the necessities made out of trees if trees could not be cut down? Trees must be cut down in order to get our essential everyday objects. Trees are the natural source of many items in our lives. Also, because soil is renewable, cutting down trees allow new trees to grow in its place. Cutting trees would give us, human beings, a less difficult time living. The article, “Tree Loss” states “ People cut down trees to make room for new farms, housing developments, highways and cities. ” I believe that cutting trees would leave space for new trees to grow. “ When a serious wildfire rips through a forest, it has a tendency to kill nearly all the trees in its path. On one hand, to log a burned forest makes a good deal of sense. Some of the timber is still useful, and it's a way to derive economic benefit from a landscape that’s otherwise devastated. ” ( Source C ) In my opinion, I think the phrase “ Two birds, one stone ” is appropriate for this evidence from Source C. The phrase means that doing something can affect two things. Cutting trees from a forest that has been burned in a wildfire benefits for human beings and the forest. It would give humans the objects, used in everyday life, made out of wood and would benefit the forest by getting rid of the wood that has been burned ( halfway or more ) already. Source C says “ For example, some researchers have written that salvage logging could be beneficial, because it disturbs the soil surface, breaking up the water repellant layer that forms in a fire, and increases the soil’s ability to soak up water. ” I think cutting, or logging trees would not only help human beings, it would be healthy for the forest as
