Component II: Athletics Financial Assistance Component II primarily applies to colleges and universities, if they offer athletic scholarships to student-athletes. This component of Title IX ensures the universities are equally disturbing scholarship fund among gender ratios. Enterprise High School is a public high school that does not offer scholarships to athletes. Therefore, Component II of Title IX does not apply. Meaning, we follow Component II. Component III: Equivalence in Other Athletics Benefits and Opportunities The third component of Title IX evaluates the availability of benefits of athletic participation. Component III uses the acronym PLAYING FAIR to test eleven areas of an athletic program to find equivalence in the program.
