Many stories can be told through the use of art, and many don’t understand that story right away. That is like most art, it is abstract and attractive as well. Art is used as an escape from the real world and can express themselves through their artist. There are two artworks that are paired together and those are, The Simoni Martini, Annunciation, as well as Fra Angelico, Annunciation, San Marco, Florence, Italy, ca. 1440-1445. These two could’ve been paired together for many different reasons but one reason is that both show angles bowing down looking for forgiveness from a greater power. There are many differences that are shown in each of these paintings, one of them being setting. There are more differences to each painting rather then just setting. Another difference would be color, not every color is the same. One painting is painted with blues and greens while the other is painted with a different variety of yellows and oranges. The painting with the blues and greens are the softer of the two because the colors are considered soft where as the one with the different yellows and oranges are considered warm colors. The two colors do not match the images though because the painting with the yellows are not warm they are more cold because the greater being is turning away from the angle, where as the painting with the blues and greens are warm feeling because both have a respect for each other. These are two different images, and could possibly have the same meaning based on the artist view, but are the same all around. They are the same because both reveal the same an angle bowing to a greater being. That and both of the images has something to do with outside because one is either holding a plant or one is around the
