Persuasion is causing someone to believe something after arguing your reasoning for your belief. Persuasion requires some kind of support or evidence to support your claim because you change another person beliefs by saying you should believe this instead without some kind of reason or solid evidence to convince them to shift their beliefs. Persuasion requires listening skills and communication. Many could argue that one or other are more important when attempting to convince someone of something. In my opinion, I believe speaking is more important than listening. Speaking is more important when you are trying to persuade someone of something because it allows you to express your opinion, allows communication, and allow for more effective arguments. Speaking is a crucial main vocal point of persuasion and needed in any kind of argument. In an argument, speaking allows you to express your opinion and get your point across to the people involved in the argument. Without the ability to speak or communicate your opinion, your stance for your belief within the argument; causing your position to be unsupported. Communication is important when you are trying to express your opinion because it enables you to become more vocal and assertive during your argument. It is an important life skill that allow us to better understand and connect with the people. Without communication, it could cause a lot of conflict and misunderstanding between everyone involved. You cannot form a conversation without any form of communication or speaking to the person you are trying to communicate with. Listening to other people requires communication as well, because without communication what will you be able to hear.
