Every time you step on to the court its a challenge. Not only an individual challenge, but a team challenge to be the best. This is for the best two sports in the world, football and basketball. The glory of winning, but the agony of losing, is what separates the champs from contenders. There are truly two of sports we highlight in today culture. They are so popular that you see them all over the world, or maybe different version of them. There are truly die hard fans from not only these sports, but others world wide. Not only is it celebrated, but the lives these sports have said is such inspirational. That is what everybody loves about it at the end. just like every sport is injuries. I am willing to say that football careers are more career threatening than basketball. As you look at the history, you see that football players life are shortening while playing longer. With basketball players, they get injuries, but they do not linger as long as football players in their later life. With injuries comes substitution, who are the people that gives players break if they cannot go on anymore. The importance of these in both sports is keep the next man fresh at all possible. For instance if you have an injury ridden team, in all likely you want be good at all that season. Just like players win championships, the benches a vital reason teams succeed. As well they both have to be successful in passing the ball. That is key to winning big games in the clutch. Even if the pass is from the quarterback in football, or a talented point guard in basketball, it is important. That is what winning is, just doing the fundamentals, and worry about the rest
