Or is it a Hitler?: Holocaust Vs. 9/11 Imagine sitting at school and hearing that one or both parents have been brutally killed for just being an American, or going through watching an entire religion being picked off and killed just for their beliefs? Even though those two scenarios seem far fetched and even similar, those were very real events that have scarred the human race for years now. The terror attacks of the Twin towers being hit by hijacked planes on September 11th, 2001, and the gassing of millions of Jews, known as the Holocaust, were very similar attacks, but the perpetrators and route taken were very different. It all started with sunny skies and a planned hijacking drill on flight #77 and a very twisted man who believed that he should control the population in his country. 1943, Nazi Germany had the same idea because the Holocaust was a very tragic event that happened due to the hatred of the Jewish race and religion. Adolf Hitler turned to blame the Jews when the Great Depression struck following World War I. Very similar to the Holocaust, many Americans were killed due to the hatred and terrorism from radical Islamic extremists. The Holocaust started taking place on January 30th, 1933 in Germany and didn't end until May Eighth, 1945. Not only were their lives taken, but the few that survived were deprived of their basic human rights. A lot more than a terror attack was performed that day, Americans all over were robbed of friends, families, pride, and put into a constant setting of fear. The terrorist took america by complete shock on that day, they hijacked the one plane that nobody expected and maliciously murdered all of the members on the flight and every innocent soul in the towers by flying the stolen planes into the World Trade Center.when they collapsed. To take away the basic freedoms and rights of the germans, the nazis made it where Jews couldn't marry, couldn't move away, and forced them to forfeit their businesses.
