BOOM!!!.... There went the second tower. On the day of September 11, 2001 the Twin Towers (world trade center) and the Pentagon were intentionally crashed into by a clan of terrorists. This was devastating to the United States of America. On September 11, 2001 four planes were hijacked by an Islamic group lead by Osama Bin Laden. Each plane had a different target. One plane crashed into the Pentagon around 10am ,another plane crashed into the north Twin Tower around 8am and another plane hit the south tower 29 minutes later. The last plane was aiming for the White House but the citizens on the plane took back over the plane knowing it was going to crash. Just imagine what it would be like to know your going to die because you saved the president. …show more content…

At the Pentagon 163 people died and, by the White House the 40 people on the plane died as well as all 19 terrorist. This was the worst terrorist attack in the United States of America. The reason the terrorist went for the Twin Towers and the Pentagon is because they were not strong enough to take out our military base. Think about it, a fight with 19 people against 200,000 or more trained military men and women. That would be just down right unfair. What I thought is why would people go on a suicide mission knowing there going to die. The weirdest part about this is there were two families on the planes two of them were brothers ,so were three other men. Also most of them came from Saudi Arabia. Ever since 9/11 the military have been looking for Osama Bin Laden. He was found in Abbottabad, Pakistan on May 2, 2011 almost ten years after the attacks. He was shot and killed while he was
