Comfortable seating in very new and already teachers love it. When you are sitting in a comfortable seating classroom, you will most likely see a lot of yoga balls, blankets and, a lot of clipboards! Kids focus better with comfortable seating in schools. Comfortable seating helps kids focus because they are more comfortable and increases their listening skills. Fidgety kids would much rather have yoga balls and clipboards than uncomfortable big bulky desks. Grades have improved because of focusing. Interacting more causes them to be happier. When a child listens to poetry and songs, they are learning to grasp phonics. The play that takes place with water, sand, and containers form the groundwork for understanding basic math concepts. Matching, sequencing, and one on one communication are all actives that are done over and over in preschool settings, and help children prepare to learn academics. Watching other children pursue a challenging tasks is also helpful. Children not see use parents as role models but also other children. They are often more inclined to do something another child is doing, then what an adult shows them. The presence of other children and a wide variety of material are big advantages of leaning academics in preschool.
I feel that in order for students to prosper they must be comfortable with their learning environment. I plan to have an well-organized classroom with various bulletin boards highlighting current chapters of study, as well as announcements and assignments. I also believe that you must keep students both interested and involved to achieve successful learning. Desks in my classroom will be organized in one large “U” formation facing my desk in the front to create a feeling of unity and coherence. To further promote this goal I will assign a seating chart (possibly alphabetically) to aid in the diffusion of cliques and to avoid exclusion of these who may have the tendency to be isolated. Individual and group projects will be incorporated into my curriculum to provide students the opportunity to work both independently, as well as a team member.
Children can burn off bottled up energy at recess that they have accumulated while sitting through their teacher’s lessons. Lahey mentions that “studies have found that students who enjoy the benefit of recess are more attentive once they return to class”. This is helpful because the child will be focused on what they are learning instead of fidgeting in their chair. Also, providing breaks to students while they are learning can result in longer attention spans. Recess is a break that recharges the brain and allows elementary students to control their desire to adventure. Young children are easily distracted, so recess regulates this by providing them with their own free time. Students become more self-contained after they return from recess due to their tiredness. Kids are missing out on fun activities because they are busy doing homework. Sometimes students stay up way too late because they are doing homework. Then the student doesn’t get a lot of sleep which can lead them to being late the next morning for school. Also while a student is doing homework everyone else is out playing fun games. The kid then might get jelous which can lead the student to depression. The student can’t do stuff like play football with friends or watch a movie with a family member. Students don’t get to explore the world around them because of homework. Kids should be out playing sports or playing
To began with, students would be social with friends. It would be hard when you don't have breaks. Students wouldn’t be getting in trouble all the time. Students and teachers wouldn’t be stressed.they would be in a good mood and then they can be happy.

These negative effects include cuts in funding for art programs and sports that have little popularity. The reason this is important is due to a students ' ability to create a social structure outside the classroom. Going through high school, counselors always say to participate in school, both in the classroom and out as it will help with the students ' grade. But due to these program cuts, students ' have fewer choices in after-school programs which correlate back to their grade. The reason for this is closely related to why many people exercise to relieve stress. An archive from John Holloway states that when a student does participate more outside of school, their grade point average goes up. The classroom embodied the stereotypical music classroom with its various instruments scattered around the room. Every inch of the wall and door was covered with music notes while chairs encircled the room. Besides the teacher’s desk, there were no other desks in sight. The students had to sit on the ground in the center of the room away from the instruments. Even when playing instruments, the students sat on the ground. Although the setup was very different from a general classroom, it was appropriate for the kinds of lessons that the teacher taught the students. The teacher did not hand out any worksheets or assigned homework so the students did not need any desks for writing. Since the classroom was already small and cramped, having desks in the class would have impeded on the activities that the students performed.
During the first day of school, a variety of different students enter the classroom. These students are excited and nervous, they have their parents by their sides who are observing the classroom walls and arrangement.
