Past, Present, Future
Soren Kierkegaard stated, “life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards.” My life in the past and present create my future. Never easy, human beings push through a difficult life. Life is only understood backwards because we are in the present and no longer in the past. Humans can’t live life thinking about what they did wrong or right in the past. If we focus on what it could be like in the future, we will have no problem facing challenges in the near future.
In the past, I really liked playing sports. I loved to play sports that got me involved with playing them with my friends. I played softball with my friends from 8u to 14u. I loved to read, draw and hang out with friends at sleepovers. In kindergarten I got in a fight with my friend, Ashley Davis, and punched her in the face on the playground. I also enjoyed having fun playing with toys at Bitty Bees before and after school. I also really liked going to school to see my teacher and all my friends. I liked to go outside for recess to run around with my friends for a half-an-hour. I loved doing all of the schoolwork that we had to do in elementary school. Over my head, thinking about what the future holds everyday. We don’t know what it holds though. I honestly hope that I will have many of my friends in the future. I will probably have a busy life working, raising a family, and going to college to become an X-Ray technician. I hope to also take everything I have learned from my parents and teachers to use when I am raising my family and living life. I hope to still enjoy the things I do in the future too. Practically, I would love to have a small family because it would be a lot easier than having a big family. I plan to adopt kids to give them a good home to live in. I also don’t want any of my own. The future is a big thing to think about but it is also not an easy topic to discuss
