Who invented basketball? The guy who invented basketball was James Naismith in 1891. He took a ball and a fruit basket and made basketball. Since then basketball evolved from some something plain and simple to teams going against other teams to win the championship and etc. Great players had come and go like Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, and Kobe Bryant. Hall of Fame players like Shaq O’Neal, Yao Ming, and Allen Iverson. And players who are at the top of their game that is LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Russell Westbrook. He is currently 30 years old. He is standing at 6’0” and weighing at 175 pounds. For High School Chris went to West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, North Carolina. Chris had potential to play in the NBA by high school by averaging 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals in his junior year! Chris Paul graduate from high school and went to Wake Forest. Chris Paul was amazing in college. Averages 14 points 5 assists and 3 steals per game. After two years, Chris Paul decided that it was time to go pro and enter the NBA draft. In June of 2005, Chris Paul was the 4th pick in the 1st round by the New Orleans Hornets (now known as the New Orleans Pelicans). Chris Paul made his NBA debut Nov, 1 2005 against the Sacramento Kings, He scored 13 points, 4 assists and 2 steals in a 67-93 win. From that point on, Chris Paul was playing like an veteran. Chris Paul is an excellent scorer. His career high in points is 43. Chris Paul is an amazing passer. His career high was 21 assists against the Los Angeles Lakers. Chris Paul went to his first All Star game in 2007. The 2008-2009 season Chris signed an 68 million dollar extension with the Hornets. They season was great for him averaging 22.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 11.0 assists, and 2.7 steals per game! He lead them to the playoff but lost in the 1st round by the Denver Nuggets. He is currently 31 years old. He is now standing at 6’4” and weighing at 190 pounds. JJ Redick went to Cave Spring High School in Roanoke, Virginia. JJ graduated from High School and went to Duke University. In 2006 JJ decided that his college day are over and that he would enter the NBA draft. In June of 2006, JJ was the 11th of the 1st round and was drafted by the Orlando Magic. JJ made his NBA debut on November 25, 2006 against the Atlanta Hawks. Coming off the bench he scored only 2 points, 1 assist, and 1 rebound. JJ was not getting playing minutes and was upset about. In January of 2008, JJ asked his agent if he could be traded. So his agent did his job. During the trading deadline in February, the Magic decided not to trade JJ. In the 2008-2009 season, JJ was averaging 17.4 minutes a game and played 64 games. In the 2009-2010 season, the Magic went all the way to the NBA finals and they was going against the Los Angeles Lakers. Sadly, Kobe Bryant was to much for the Magic and the Lakers won won the series in 5 games 4 to 1. In February of 2013, JJ was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks. But only spend one season with the Bucks and was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. Teaming up with Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and DeAndre Jordan and became a great team.
