China has a vast and diverse past, including the history of its literature. This is not only important to China, but to the entire world. Through the many styles and teachings of literature, and the culture of this country, China contributed many important pieces of literature to the world. China is unique and full of culture, an example of this is the many celebrations and festivals held. An example of China’s uniqueness is the flora and fauna only indigenous to the country. This makes China a very special place indeed.

There are many animals that are indigenous only to China, and are very rare, including the giant panda, the golden-haired monkey, the South China tiger, the white flag dolphin, the red ibis, and many more. The Giant Panda is the most famous chinese animal, which is also known as it’s scientific name, Ailuropoda Melanoleuca, weighs on average 135 kg, and lives in the bamboo forests. Their diet consists only of bamboo. The giant panda’s life span is from fourteen years to twenty years in the wild, and up to thirty years in captivity. The giant panda used to be an endangered species, but the population has increased greatly and they are no longer endangered, although they are still quite rare (China.org ).
There are more than 32,000 species of complex plants, for example, flowering plants. One of the most famous plants in China is the bamboo from the forests, also known by it’s scientific name, Bambusoideae. Bamboo is a type of grass, whose height ranges from thirty centimeters to as tall as thirty meters. It grows in many different climates, from mountainsides to jungles. We can make an inference that this is true because of her acceptance of her son’s death at the end of the story. At the end of the story Kisa moves on with her life to become a follower of Buddha. Here in the story Kisa Gotami has learned the same lessons as we readers have learned.
The Parable of the Mustard Seed is written for the people of China who practice the Buddhist faith. This makes it important to China because there are a large amount of Buddhist inhabitants in the country. The story shows these people are accepting of death, and see it as a part of life, inevitably. It is also shown that parables, short stories that teach a lesson, are commonly used to teach lessons in the Buddhist
