Cheerios is a cereal that is manufactured by General Miller. Cheerios contain Whole Grain Oats, Modified Corn Starch, Sugar, Salt, Tripotassium Phosphate, Wheat Starch, Vitamin E and added to Preserve Freshness. Cheerios is known for advertising that their cereal can lower cholesterol. They claim that they can lower cholesterol because their cereal is low in saturated fat, are made with whole grains like oats, and provide essential vitamins and minerals.
Kool-aid was invented by a man named Edwin Perkins He was born in the state of Iowa but he eventually went to live in Nebraska. At about 1927 he invented Kool-aid He was inspired by the drink Fruit smack, but because he wanted to lower the cost of shipping he removed all fluids from the drink. This dry powder eventually became Kool-aid. However Kool-aid did not always go by the same name It was originally Kool-Ade but because Ade refers to juice he had to change it tho the name it has today. Eventually Kool-aid got their own mascot the cool-aid man (He often broke through walls), They also had a comic with 7 issues, along with the Atari 2600 came the “Adventures of Kool-aid Man”. Nutri-Grain cereal bars were created by the Kellogg Company and first introduced in the 1970’s Australia. They were later introduced to the United States and other countries. As more women began to work outside the home, the ritual of a family breakfast became obsolete as many individuals turned to quicker solutions for breakfast. The Nutri-Grain bar soon became popular as the on-the-go snack during the 1990’s. The cereal bar also comes in a variety of flavors that kids love, from blueberry to strawberry yogurt and has the texture a soft, homemade cookie. The brand gives me a happy feeling and the various flavours make me feel like it is a fun treat to have which makes me forget about my goals of eating healthy food. I do agree that many parents would not choose Pop Tart’s for their children due to the amount of sugar and preservatives in Pop Tarts.
Cheerios are breakfast cereal eaten by millions of Americans every day. General Mills shares with the public through their ads that Cheerios are a healthy breakfast and snack that brings the benefits of oats, low sugar, and vitamins and minerals into our diet. Honey Nut Cheerios is one of the many cereals that General Mills have which they claim is good for our health because of the ingredients they use. Some of the ingredients that are in the cereal have raised red flags for consumers, like the sugar content that is much higher than other cereals and the GMO’s that are in it. Since this information is not widely publicized, consumers who are unaware of the different serving sizes and ingredients will consume a higher amount of unwanted sugar that would put them at risk of diabetes and other health issues in the long run.

Shows such as Spongebob Squarepants don’t generate attention disorders like ADHD, but they do contribute to shorter attention spans. This is especially unhealthy for younger people. Watching cartoons makes it harder to employ executive function in the brain, the process used to complete tasks. Viewing TV programming with a still developing brain is hurtful for the younger generations. Fast-paced programs over-stimulate young kids’ brains.
Cholly Atkins was an American Tap dancer and choreographer. He was born on 30th September 1913 in Birmingham, Alabama. Cholly Atkins had won numerous awards like the Tony Award for best choreography and worked with big named Motown starts.
This label makes Cheerios seem like a “healthy conscience choice” when in fact they are not healthy at all. The truth is that this breakfast cereal is highly processed and is best avoided despite the “healthy halo” of being approved by the National Heart Association and GMO free. On wednesday we left for outdoor ed. We loaded the buses and left. When we arrived we had a hike into skycroft. Once we arrived we had lunch. After lunch we got into our cabins and then meet at the black top. We had our first activity. My group he snakes went on the history hike. Then we came back and had dinner. Living on the eastern coast of Australia, the Koala spends its time jumping from eucalyptus tree to eucalyptus tree picking and eating so many leaves that they eventually begin to smell alike. Though many people believe the Koala is a part of the bear family because of their physical similarities, they actually have no relation to bears and their only relatives consist of the wombat and the kangaroo. All three of these animals are a part of the marsupial family. Coincidentally, when identifying the Koala, the Greek word for “pouch” to represent marsupial got mixed up with the Greek word for “bear” explaining why they are now associated with bears.

John Harvey Kellogg wanted to cure “Americanitis”, which was the stomachache caused by the typical American breakfast. This breakfast consisted of sausage, fried ham, beefsteak, bacon, with whiskey and salt added on top. He decided to build a tiny health center that helped American improve their heath. In that center, he provided tips for healthy eating, and exercises. He did not allow fats, salt, or sugar in his clinic. In 1894, he took a trip to Denver, where he met an entrepreneur who invented a cereal made of shredded wheat. This inspired Kellogg to take this idea back home, and share with his brother, Will. Kellogg and his brother began to experiment, and created many cereals. They then met C.W. Post, and decided to collaborate and were eventually called themselves The Big Three. They invented 108 different brands of cereals. In the 1940s, they began adding a candy coating to the cereal. The Big Three controlled about 85% of the cereal market. The public’s enthusiasm for cereal grew drastically because women, who had children, had more time in the morning. Although convenience was the key to starting the day, the Big Three could not control the breakfast table without being finessed.
