Charles Dickens Influence On Christmas Carol

Could a little boy that came from a bankrupt family change and influence the world? If we are talking about Charles Dickens, the answer is yes! This British author is well known for the many literary books he wrote, such as A Christmas Carol. Charles Dickens has definitely influenced and taught the world what life should be. Even though Charles Dickens has been gone for almost 150 years, his legacy still is shown today in modern Christmas’.

Moreover, I have seen live dramatic presentations of this story at least a dozen times, including the Christianized version that was presented every year at the church where I grew up, as well as the always outstanding performance at the Glendale Centre Theatre (which is still offering its winsome drama, now in its 47th year). In fact, last year I played the role of Marley’s ghost in a shortened dramatic version of A Christmas Carol at my work Christmas party.
