The nervous system is primarily separated into the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system. The central nervous system is composed of the brain, its nerve cranial and the spinal cord. The peripheral nervous system is made up of the spinal nerves that extent from the spinal cord and the autonomous nervous system separated from the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems.
