When Travis first met old yeller, he had bad prejudge on him. After a couple day, something happened and made Travis felt bad to yeller. One day, Travis heard bulls roasted from the south of cabin and he found there was a fighting between two bulls. Their cabin was located on a high knoll so Travis, Little Arliss and their mum watched the fighting there. Travis enjoyed the fighting between animals but Yeller disturbed the fighting. He roasted as loud as the bulls. Travis was angry with it and he throw the rock to it. It also caused the argument between Travis and Little Arliss. Little Arliss tried to throw stone to Travis in order to protect Yeller. With mum’s help, Travis went back to see the fighting but an accident happened at this moment. Those two bulls against each other with strong power and they came straight to fence. However, Travis did not realize the danger at all. When he noticed, he was scared and would like to ask yeller to help. Yeller ran out and Travis tried to use his way to stop those two bulls. Finally, he used a heavy two-wheeled Mexican cart, which had sharp slant to stop those angry bulls. …show more content…

Always, the yeller dog would follow him and catched things. Sometimes, little Arliss would hurt himself and I was worried about him. However, mum insisted on letting Arliss continue his catching game. One day, Travis heard little Arliss scream because he got into trouble in bear cub. Though mum and Travis tried to save little Arliss, they did not have much good ways. At this time, old yeller tried to attract the bear so that Travis got a chance to save Little Arliss.
