What is catfish? Catfish is someone pretending to be someone they are not by using social media like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to create false identities to pursue a relationship. Why do people pretend to be someone they are not? We found out that many people pretend to be someone else because they can be insecure about themselves or revenge on their ex-lovers, and just to want to be someone else because they are bored with their lives. As we investigated through this research, we had to come up with survey questions to see the difference between females and male.
