Recommended: Bullying and how it affects our lives

Bullying Prevalence According to the MBNBD.org website, one in out of every seven kids have been bullied or are a bully and about ninty percent of kids in grades four through eighth have reported to have been bullied before. Considering these statistics, it is coherent that bullying is a major problem. Nevertheless, besides bullying other forms occur frequently such as peer pressure and other judgemental actions. Within the short story Eleven, forms of bullying and harassment were shown in which many kids experience all around the world. Considering the broadly viewed actions such as bullying, the story Eleven is exceptionally prevalent to both middle and high schoolers, and in addition should be prevented. In the story Eleven, events unfold in which can be related to by any student. Although bullying and harassment can be committed on accident, or unintentionally, it needs to be stopped some how. For example, the kids in the main characters classroom call her out by saying the ugly jacket belongs to her, however that alone is not much harassment, it is when no one stands up for her when she starts to cry, not even her teacher. According to dosomething.org, 3.2 million kids get bullied each year, this is a very substantial amount. In the story Eleven, the protagonist is bullied in some shape or form, whether it was mob mentality, or a mild case of harassment bullying is bullying. People can relate to situations similar to this, for example, one person calling out another in front of class is obviously going to be a little embarrassing, or if you're forced to but on a nasty seater when it doesn't even belong to you.
