It depends on what size you want the apartment. 1 bedroom cost around 655$. I've still like to be a border patrol even though it's a harmful job and you have to take a fitness test. That it's a dangerous or life risking job, and you work at night. The money was the best part of the job. I didn't think you need that much of college to be a border patrol. It protects the u.s. From drug dealer and violence. This career for me because I like to train hard and that the most important part of the job.
A nation without borders is not a nation. Today, every country is making effort to secure its borders not only from terrorists, drugs and smuggling but also from illegal immigration. All these recurring activities have sparked the United States to secure its borders against illegal immigrants and terrorism by creating a special department named the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) headed by the Secretary of Homeland Security. After the terrorist attack of 9/11, terrorism and illegal immigration were two striking issues for the DHS. To solve these issues, the Department of Homeland Security further created two immigration enforcement agencies: U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the U.S. Customs and
In “The Border Patrol State” Leslie Silko makes accusations of the border patrol’s mistreatment of American citizens of Mexican decent, making the argument with almost evidence. Silko, a critically acclaimed poet, sees the border patrol as a governmental assembly addicted to interrogation, torture, and the murder of those they see fit.
United States Border Patrol has been around since 1904 enforcing and regulating laws under the immigration and Nationality Act. U.S. border patrol is now under the Department of Homeland Security, which was created as a response to the attacks of September 11, 2001. Over the years, their jurisdiction and missions have changed to better protect the safety of nation. Although border patrol is a need for any nation, their extensive acceptations to constitutional laws can often be taken advantage of. The mission of the U.S. border patrol should be to prevent illegal aliens, which are a threat to American society, from reaching their purpose. Frequently, their purpose can be confused or executed in a bias manner.

“Together with other law enforcement officers, the Border Patrol helps maintain borders that work—facilitating the flow of legal immigration and goods while preventing the illegal trafficking of people and contraband” (Overview). Or so their official website states, but evidence would suggest that they are part of a corrupt and violent system; they have dehumanized themselves due to their existence as an extension of government regulations; they have been placed at the border to guard it from the illegals who try to break through to the American side and some abuse that power. The government pays extremely generous sums for their operations, but their effectiveness and moral practices have been questionable. The victims—those apprehended during their journey across the border and the families of those killed by the officers (among many others)—claim that the BP exists outside of the law, but it is also true that not all officers violate human rights, not all go rogue. What determines who becomes the conductor of power is the hiring process as well as the honesty and diligence of the administrative personnel. The qualifications to become a border patrol officer (as listed on the official PB website) are

Being a Basketball Coach. The reason why i am studying this career is because i want to know what it is like to be a High School, or a College Coach, and a National League Associations (NBA) and just to see how it is to be a coach . My history of this career is that i have been to so many job shadows that are coaches and some coaches are nice too there players and some are very mean. There are a lot of basketball coaches out there and the employment of this job is to make sure your other coaches stay on track with the players to because some of the basketball players just want to go out and party after a game which that is not good for your body to have alcohol or anything else in your body. Why am I interested in a career in Law Enforcement? I am interested in becoming a police officer because I want to take down drug dealers and enforce the traffic laws that lots of drivers ignore. Like I said before ever since I began watching “Bones” the Tv show I was hooked, I knew exactly what I had wanted to be. The job is so interesting, not only do you discover new things in the bones but you find out the cause of their death. It is sort of strange to be amused by bones or a dead body but it looks very interesting. . I would not mind making this my career when I grow up , Specially when they get payed from $50,000-$95,000 a year. I am pretty sure that it would definitely make me happy. I know that they get payed very well and I know that with the amount of money I will earn from this job I will be able to buy anything I want whenever I want. It will definitely complete my life style. I definitely do think that this job is worth the investment I put in because it would be a couple of grand for me to go to school and study and have experience with this profession, then once I am out of school I will go out and make a living out of it. The rest of my life will be working on something that I enjoy doing thanks to a couple of years studying and paying my tuition. The money will double itself because I will be experienced and will know everything about my career. I think the best part would be being able work law enforcement and feeling as if I am such a huge deal when really I came to look at some bones. I mean it is important but like you’ll have
It is something that I will have a true passion for, long after I leave college. A good career in my opinion would be something that I enjoy doing, but also something where I know I am actually making a difference in someone’s life.
For my profession, I would be a soccer player. I’ve played on a soccer team for three years and I have improved. Last year I was invited many times to play on the club soccer team and they wanted me on the team which motivated me to keep playing. I loved how it’s a team sport and we’re able to make friends.
It has always been my dream to become an officer in the military ever since I was young. My uncle was in the military and loved it, he always told me stories about it and how much he enjoyed it. Growing up hearing his stories and seeing his uniform made me want to do it one day. Well, for me that one day is here now and I am proud to put on that uniform and call myself a soldier. I have always been a leader in my family, my community, and in my life in general. I like to not just be in charge but, I like to inspire those around me. I enjoy setting the example for those around me to follow.
This program is made for kids who at a young age know that law enforcement is something they want to do in the future. It gives you a step over everyone else who wants to become a law enforcement officer, but was never in the program. The program is once a week for 2hrs, throughout the two hours of a meeting you learn discipline, do lots of physical training, and get taught by Sheriffs the things they learn while in the academy. This program not only taught me a lot, but made me realize that this was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I was interested from the moment I joined in the moment I had to move on. At 20 I was hired as a Cadet with Laguna Beach police Department. This is where I learned the most, hands on work with detectives at the police department. This is where I get to see things come into place. I see cases from scratch, work their way into arrest warrants and see criminals go behind bars. The detectives trust me with so much that they show me everything they deal with and everything they do to catch criminals. I work side by side with them getting anything they need, from booking evidence to helping them find criminals. This job has shown me where I will be in the future and has opened up so many opportunities for me. These programs have shown me what police officers and deputies actually go through in a daily basis. It’s not a TV show or a movie it’s real
