Imagine reading more than 10,000 pages in your teenage years,well Bill Gates did. As a young adult he created what is now known as Microsoft.Bill Gates was the CEO of microsoft . He has gone through many bad things in life but he says,”life's not fair, get used to it.” Bill Gates helps the people in need and that is what being a hero is all about. When Bill Gates gave money to the poor and to hospitals to help them, he exuded empathy, determination, and inspirational to other.
First of all, when he became the richest man alive he had no clue what he was going to do with all of his money so he started a foundation that helps people in need. Abraham Lincoln, Walt Disney, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, and Steve Jobs all had no college degree but they all succeed in life. Even though Bill Gates did not get a college degree he still scored 1590 out of 1600 on his SAT. Bill Gates demonstrates his ability to show compassion to others in this quote as he says, ”Don’t compare yourself with anyone in this world… if you do so,you are insulting yourself.”. Gates shows that success will never come easy in life it will always be something you have to want to work hard for to achieve. As he said, “Success is a lousy teacher. It seduces smart people into thinking they can’t lose.”. As you can see failure can go two ways because some people fail and give up and some people get right back up and try again, but with Bill Gates he used his experiences of failure and got right back up and tried it again.
