The Book of Romans Biblical Worldview Introduction/Thesis Worldview is defined by Merriam Webster as “the way someone thinks about the world”. Paul gives us a look into, one may see as his, biblical worldview in Romans. Romans has been said to be, by way of opinion, to be the “purest Gospel” (Martin Luther 1545). Paul’s intent was to impart gospel truths, helping them to receive direction. Romans addresses our human identity, nature, relationships, the world we live in and culture. Romans assist in who we are in Christ, how the world is and what we can do to stand out, Natural World Romans Chapter 1:18:32 touches on common mankind. It allows us to see God’s distinctiveness through what He created. Romans 1:20 (Recovery Version) states “For the invisible things of Him, both His eternal power and divine characteristics, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, being perceived by the things made, so that they would be without excuse” We are surrounded by so much of the wonderful things that He created. Paul goes on to say that men, whether Gentile and Jew, have sinned (Romans 3:9). Because of sin and our fleshly passions man was separated from God. However, to show His love for us God sent His son Jesus to die for us and be reconciled to our Father. In Romans 8:14, it states that when we are led by the Spirit of God, we gain sonship. God wants redemption not just for His chosen children, the people of Israel, but for all of mankind. Relationship begins with accepting Jesus Christ and what He has done for us and dying to sin so what we may live in God. (Romans
