WHAT ARE THE DYNAMICS OF BIBLICAL TRANSFORMATION?
The dynamics of Biblical transformation are the means of becoming biblically transformed. We shall explore these dynamics as follows:
1. CULTIVATING HIS MIND
A man’s life is shaped by his thoughts. This is a basic spiritual truth. The outward appearance of a man is not the in working of his mind, hence to be transformed is to be like Christ and have access to his mind. Jesus had a mind; Phil.2: 5-7, have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.

As we relate intimately with Him in prayer and the word, His mind will become ours.
2. BEHOLDING HIS GLORY (2Cor.3:18) But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
This is another way to be biblically transformed. A miracle takes place as we behold Jesus continually in the word of God. This is when we are constantly being transfigured. Thus, beholding first and foremost is in the place of personal communion. As Mary sat at His feet, hearing him, as John the beloved laid his head on His lap and as Mary Magdalene bathed His feet with her tears and cleansed it with her hair, so an intimate fellowship with the Lord will bring this transformation to the soul, and hence the shaping and moulding of their character.
When Moses spent 40 days and nights beholding Him on the mount, he came down with his face

DIVINELY ORDAINED CIRCUMSTANCES
• God also uses circumstances to transform us to become like him. Sometimes it may not be favourable. For example, the case of Joseph, Daniel and Job. However, God uses it to transform us into His likeness. He uses it to shake away all the shakable in our lives so that only the unshakeable will remain. After the shaking, we are brought forth as gold. (Job 23:10)
• It is important to know that transformation begins by knowing the Lord and having a definite encounter with God. Have you encountered God?

If Christ lives in us, controlling our personalities, we will leave glorious marks on the lives we touch. Not because of our lovely characters, but because of his. –Eugenia Price.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for his good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. (ESV)
In the article, How Jesus Transforms the Church, Skip Ryan states that “Christ changes us by loving us.” “He purposes to love us.” He also states, “I want you to see the overwhelming, transforming, marvelous, empowering, equipping, and graceful love of Christ, which is only seen against the backdrop of how completely and totally unworthy of it you and I are.” “When someone loves you, it really has the catalytic power in your life to change you; when you are loved, you are transformed by that love, and the degree of the transformation usually correlates to the depth and extent of the love.” “Christ does not first make you holy and then love you.

...o live by a higher standard as my leaders here at Bethel have exemplified greatly, and invested massive amounts of time into me and others to strive for. God is good and one of mercy, but He is just and grace cannot be openly abused but for so long in his eyes when we know the truth but cast it for a character that reflects us as Children of the devil. I desire to be a leader of people and to set people free from addictions as I have. Therefore I must scorn the nature I dismiss and cover with whispers of self-exaltation. I must drag the inner side of my life out to the forges and let the hammer of the Holy spirit shape me into the being God created me to be. Then I will cultivate the calling on my life and everything I need to accomplish and do in this life for the glory of God and His kingdom which is coming soon and may I be ready for such a time as then and now.
