A point which is important for Anna Wierzbicka is that is that the experience of bilingual people is not based on speaking two languages but rather on living with people who speak two different languages. The emotional distance created by the use of a second laguage may transmit anger or bad feelings rather than anything said for the first time in a language. She also affirms that is important to know that the two languages of a bilingual person differs not only by the lexical and grammatical repertoires for expressing and describing emotions but also in the sets of ‘emotional scripts’ regulating emotion-talk.

This quote refers that knowing or learning other language means a door to other culture because as a person express herself differently in other language she also has another personality.For example, somebody is the same person even she speaks other languages, but she expresses herself in a different way, that depending by that language so that one expression in English has 4 words and in Italian or French one word.Every language, namely every culture has words which sound different such as: in italian.For example, Italian language has a latin base which make it sounds differently. The English language has also a few words from latin, especially religious term such as ”angel” and not only such ”antiqua”-”antique”, ”pictura”-”picture”, ”lingua”-”language”. Here everything depends on how accentuated some words are or it depends on the dialects.
Language is so powerful that it can change a person s attitude, the way she or he thinks or the gesture because through this way you act like a French if you speak French or English, it depends. You are influenced by people around you, by habits . Whether someone lives abroad is forced to accommodate with all that country or language
