Behavior theory is the expression of the evidence of behavior research, and theory is the resource that helps not just with the development of behavioral nutrition but also with the physical activities interventions however for effective interventions it is necessary the development of behavioral change theory focus on the promotion of actions. According to The Collins Cobuild English Language Dictionary, there are two meanings of the word Theory. The first meaning defined theory as an idea or collection of ideas that explain something. It Relies on evidence but it cannot be proved. The second meaning does not consider the theory as a knowledge or evidence and It is based on the collection of thinking. IM suggest a methodical way proceeding from the data of behavioral determinants to specific goals, and the develop of strategies based on the intervention matrixes. Matrices that will develop an intervention map and will set objectives and change strategies that will create intervention activities . Intervention Mapping (IM) is effective on theory based on evidence because allow the intervention development and the evaluation and implementation of health promotion interventions. IM consider that is essential to translate the health-related behavior to health-promoting behavior or behavior change and then search for all the factors that required change behavior.
