How was the physical fitness of both players?
The reason why Malaysian Badminton Teams can be lost to Indonesian Badminton Teams also can be influenced by their physical fitness for each players from both countries. The physical fitness can also can be influenced by a few factors such as how they did the physical exercise, their diets or meals before the game and training that have been provided. Based on the competition video between Malaysia against Indonesia, we analysed that the team were lacking in exercise. In more detail about this factor, they weren’t being given enough exercise or training before the game begin. When they don’t have enough training, so their stamina will be decreased (Connolly, 2015). Stamina is very important to keep them stay energetic during the game (Connolly, 2015). It is very important among all players in badminton match where they can measure of their own progress until where they can going forth. In this matter, the player should retain its fitness even during the training sessions so they can perform well in the match game ("Badminton Fitness", n.d.). From the game between Malaysia and Indonesia during the SEA Games 2015, we can see and observe that Malaysian players had the weakness during in the competition. Especially, during the smash, the opponents (Indonesia) encounter the shuttlecock with a strong smash that causing Malaysian player couldn’t fend off the encounter.
