It can be said that technology has enhanced the generation. On August 6, 1945 the 5th atomic bomb was dropped, killing thousands of people and causing worries about a nuclear war. Ray Bradbury, an American fantasy horror story author, had his short story “August 2026: There Will Come Soft Rains” published in 1950. This story focused on a world that revolved around industrial science, which was later demolished my nature after the human beings had been demolished by nuclear forces. It has come to my attention that technology has been beneficial to the populace.

In the article “25 Negative Effects of Technology” written by Sheri Hosale it states, “The more time people are spending engrossed in video games, talking to friends online and watching funny cat videos on YouTube, they are spending less time being active or exercising.” In other words, we spend more time using electronics compared to the amount of time we spend doing physical activity. However, those electronic components can also be used to contact one in an emergency, watch and follow along with workout videos, complete online assignments, etc. showing that the community is aided by the devices. Technology has make our life more productive in many different ways. One of the greatest invention is Apple’s products. It leads an evolution of tablet devices. IPad or IPhone can act as a textbook, laptop, navigation, camera, notebook, gaming devices and more. We are still doing the same thing but in a more effectively way. Society has been impacted both negatively and positively by technology. As a result, every aspect of our lives has been influenced by technology. Hence, life is easier, yet it has taken away some of the enjoyment. For example, remember the days of less stress and more personal interaction, when there were no online messages, no emails, social media or cell phones. We have become excessively dependent on technology. As a result, we need to rely less on technology even though it has made learning fun, and business, daily tasks, work, travel, shopping, making new friends and staying in touch easier. In conclusion, technology has a lot of benefits, yet it could take over our lives and become our worst enemy if we aren't careful.
