Description of Offense
Attempted Sexual Assault. Offense date is October 12, 2014. This offense involves an incident in which a 37-year-old nude woman’s body was discovered on a back road. The body has been decapitated, and the woman’s head and articles of clothing with blood on it were discovered on another road 4 miles away. It was discovered that the woman, in an intoxicated condition, had accompanied some men from a tavern who reportedly took the woman to their apartment, forced her to engage in sexual intercourse, then at least one of the men attacked the woman with a kitchen

The subject states that on or about October 12, 2014, during an unknown time he allegedly committed the offense of the Attempted Sexual Assault on a 37-year-old female, but he denies the Attempted Sexual Assault and any knowledge of the woman’s murder and decapitation. He admits to occasional marijuana use at the age of 27; admits to three prior arrests resulting in a two-year probationary term for DWI. He states that he left the apartment for an unknown period of time, and when he returned, his friends and the woman were gone. He admits that there was blood on the floor and in the bedroom where the woman allegedly raped by the other

Subject was referred because he was mute, refused to eat, and exhibited unusual behavior. Subject appeared detached, withdrawn, in distress, and depressed. His blood pressure was low, he had lost much weight, and he appeared to be dehydrated. He would give no information to the staff on duty at that time. He would sit in one place on his bunk for seven to eight hours at a time. Sometimes he would state that he was nervous and scared. He was making statements that he needed to stay in prison because he wouldn’t have anything on the outside now. He flooded his cell on one occasion and become unresponsive at times. His physical and mental condition started to deteriorated further. He was losing weight because he was not eating properly, and got transferred to a medical unit for care. When received, he was on Caldor D, 10mgs. TOD and Coactive, 2mgs. BIT. The subject may have been suicide risk and placed on suicide precaution status. On the second day the subject started to begin to eat while in his admission. He was being treated for TB. The files reflect no other medical problems at this
