When I was little, I really didn’t know what astrology was or what your zodiac sign was. When I was growing up, I finally figured out what it all meant and how it worked. From that point on I was instantly clicked. I loved reading my horoscope and when ever I did read it, nine out of ten times it would be right, and that’s why I loved reading my horoscope. It was just something I did every morning, and then I would go throughout my day. Then at night when I would be back on the computer, i would reread them, and realize that most of the time those things did happen, or I did feel that type of emotion.
Astrology has been around for many years, but many people don’t understand what astrology is, who used astrology, and its connection with the zodiac. Many people don’t know this, but the actual term astrology comes from two words, which are “astra” and “logos”. When people believe in astrology, what they believe is that the planets and stars directly or indirectly influence their lives and determine what happens to them in life. Most people think that astrology is a recently thought up science, but it has actually been around for many generations. A fact to be pointed out is that the planets still go along the same group of the sky through the 12 signs of the zodiac. The 12 signs are, in order, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. I have chosen to write about the constellation Cancer (The Crab). I chose Cancer because it is one of only a handful of constellations that I am actually able to identify in the night sky. Cancer is one of the twelve Zodiac constellations; people whose birthdays fall between June 21st and July 22nd have Cancer as their sign. Cancer is the Latin word for crab, and despite the fact that the constellation looks more like a lobster then a crab, it is still referred to as a crab. Before I start explaining what birth order does I want clarify exactly what it is. When I said birth order I know at least one person, probably more thought of something similar to astrology. In some ways they are similar. They both group personalities and have a basis in science, but that’s where the similarity stops. Birth order does not predict the future. I am an Aries which are said to be friendly, nurturing, optimistic, and impulsive, I find myself being all of the above. This affects my personal communication style because I never have a problem making new friends or public speaking. I believe this is due to the fact that I am friendly and always see the best in a situation.Being an Aries helps me work in groups due to my friendliness and open-mindedness. I always tend to ask myself “what’s the worst that can happen?”. Aries view the world with optimistic eyes always seeking positive situations and adventures.
