This paper has presented several arguments concerning the issue of Biblical Hatred. The idea is wrong and should not be used by Christians. Juan Cevallos points out that, “Jesus wants to humanize people.” Because of this quote, if we continue to harm people through the way of Biblical Hatred, then we prevent humanization and create barbarians. If all we ever do is promote hatred then, “The peace witness along with the nonviolent struggle for justice is not some optional accessory in Christian living. It is grounded in a key part of the teaching[s] of Jesus … but more than that it has to do with living out in frail human response an [the] imitation of and a correlate to what Jesus lived out,” is lost. “For [God] is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked.” If God who is all powerful, is kind to those who hate God, then who are we to be hateful to those who are our brothers and sisters? Why should we hate and harm when we are created out of love and kindness? Why should we do the right thing? Because our God is a God of grace and compassion. Our God is forgiving and loving. While anti-Semitism is majorly highlighted in new testament, one of the most incriminating event, in the New Testament, attested to the Jews, is the Jewish peoples responsibility for Jesus killing; Judas, a Jew, betrayed Jesus, leading to his crucifixion, Pontius Pilot, also a Jew, was the direct cause of the crucifixion of Jesus, and various other Jewish leaders were held responsible (New International Version Mark 14:43-46, Acts 27).

In the article, “Is Your God Dead?” George Yancy makes a compelling argument on the idea of social activism. The argument proposed in the article is influenced by the negative remarks people have made against each other based on gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation. The reason why people like to remark each other negatively is because we do not like to be consider similar. The idea that contributes to this belief is that one person likes to be view better and higher than another person. However, we have been told by religious figures that everyone is made underneath the same image of Jesus Christ. Yancy is trying to achieve realization in his article. In doing so, Yancy mentions various examples of unholy actions performed by people.

The book of Hebrews is a unique portion of the Bible because it is written as though it were a letter, directed at people the writer may have known. In other words, you cannot love evil and be on God’s side. The prophet Zephaniah says that those who choose to follow the ways of the world, consequently become God’s enemy because you cannot be friends with God and the world. You have to either choose good or bad. I find this ultimatum very terrifying because it is difficult to not love the world and the pleasure it brings us. Now a days, we as humans are so into technology and in most cases we want the latest phone out, which is not the way God wanted us to live.

Religious prejudice is defined as the act of treating a person or group differently because of what they do or do not believe in. There are many cases throughout history of established religions tolerating other practices. Specifically, religious prejudice is when believers of different religions are treated unequally, either before the law or in institutional settings such as employment or housing. Even in societies where freedom of religion is a constitutional right, sometimes supporters of religious minorities voice concerns about religious prejudice against their group. Cases that are perceived as religious discrimination might be the result of an interference of the religious sphere with other spheres of the public. For a religious establishment to mistreat other religions for being ‘wrong’ ironically puts the oppressing religion in the wrong, undermining its own validity. Religious intolerance is unacceptable in general and more specifically, in the Holocaust and simply the idea that started the Holocaust. People have an inherent right to express their beliefs and not to be treated indignantly and inhumanely based on those beliefs.
