If you don’t have a lot of money and can’t afford things like food, clothes, or enough money to pay all of your bills then why not have your kid work too. If you’re a one person parent ,but have more than one kid it’s going to be hard to get them everything a kid needs. They might enjoy working at a job ,they could meet new people, or get a job that they already know how to do. Kids could earn money for important things , like college, or to help pay bills. Most teens are getting jobs at high school ages. They would need a way to get to and from work on their own. More often than not a teens work schedule is not going to coincide with the parent or guardian's schedule. The job would just end up being a hassle for both the teen and the parent taking them.
