Should College be Mandatory Often, we wonder why we get told growing up, “you have to go to college” but is it really mandatory? What would you think if you got told you had to go after high school? When thinking about having to go to college, we often look at the parties and how hard it must be, but do we look at how much it costs, or if it best suits us as an individual? As we all grow up wondering why we often get told to go to college, we may not realize the pros and cons. With going to college it can be hard, make us as teens go into debt before we even start our career, or often we lose interest in the career before we graduate.
