Cars are also a contributor to the pollution problem, its estimated that “automotive emissions are responsible for anywhere between 50 to 90 percent of air pollution”. If the whole world stopped using gas cars and switched to electric, it would save over 50 percent in pollution and that’s even with every car getting 50MPG.
