“Make America Great Again,” the campaign slogan know all around the world that is determined to change the face of 2016 election when sixty nine year old Donald John Trump is elected. In 2004, the federal debt was $7.3 trillion. This rose to $10 trillion when the housing bubble burst four years later. Today it exceeds $18 trillion and is projected to approach $21 trillion by 2019. Debt is not the only the thing the United States has been dealing within the past years, such as immigration, abortion, guns, foreign policy, taxes, along with numerous other topics, yet Trump has a way to solve the unsolved and yes, “Make America Great Again.”
Immigration is an immeasurable problem here in the U.S., Trumps outlook for this issue states “They're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime, they're rapists,” Trump said of undocumented Mexican immigrants while announcing his candidacy last June. Building the border stronger end immigrants and refugees who don’t through rigorous vettings.
Life or death is a global issue, also known as abortion. Abortion is the removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus in order to end a pregnancy. Trump states “The primary responsibility of the federal government is to protect the rights of its citizens. Life is the most fundamental right. The

“The wealthiest pay too little in taxes while the middle class needs more relief. I'm going to fix that. I’ll close corporate tax loopholes and make sure millionaires and billionaires can’t pay lower rates than middle-class families. And I’ll give tax relief to working families who are struggling with costs from college to health care.“I think we need to go after a company like Johnson Controls that is trying to avoid paying taxes after all of us bailed it out by pretending to sell itself in a so-called inversion in Europe,” Clinton said. This is a plan that would be agreeable with many supporters of even
The national debt is usually a frightening topic citizens of any country, however, in the United States, twenty trillion dollars of national debt is one of the major fears of the economy. Along with this fear comes every politician claiming to be the person to lower this astronomical debt to ease concerns in the modern American economy. In Hamilton’s Blessing, John Steele Gordon tries to alleviate these concerns by showing a plethora of benefits and good the debt has been able to do throughout the history of the United States. The central premise of the book and the main guideline for John Steele Gordon’s thinking is that the debt was used to save the Union in the 1860’s, the American economy in the 1930’s, and the wellbeing of mankind during
There exists a lot of controversy over the term “American Exceptionalism.” Not only was this debate prevalent many years ago, it also exists today. There are many aspects of American culture that can make it seem like the most superior country in the world, but also there exists many that make it seem otherwise. The term American Exceptionalism is a term that is used to strengthen a country. In times of peril and chaos, the most important action a country can do is to come together as one. Exceptionalism is not only a term for leaders to live by, but also is a term that equates to a sense of pride for the entire country.
Immigration has quickly come to the surface as one of the United States’ major problems. More specifically, illegal immigration on the Mexican border. Everyday more and more people sneak across the border in hopes of a better life. Many Americans consider it to be a bad thing, but it is not. In some ways these people do improve our country. People of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds cross the border. Many are women and children looking to start over. About 175,900 immigrants enter the US every year from Mexico. Some things that come along with immigration are border militarization, amnesty, deportation, and the threat of terrorism.
President Trump plans to “make American great again.” In his first 100 days in office, he has muscled his executive power to capitalize on the promises he has made to his voters and the American people. During his campaign, the then Republican Presidential Nominee, Donald J. Trump made waves of promises to make the country great again. He promised to build a “great wall,” repeal Obama Care, withdraw the US from NAFTA and other international pacts, end ISIS, and a plethora of other grand, but empty promises. Like empty promises, the majority of Trump’s policies have been meaningless and a bad joke. What is not a joke is, Trump and his supporters’ view and rhetoric on immigration. From the very beginning, Trump and his supporters called for
What makes a person an American? It 's an interesting question, with an immeasurable number of possible answers. Every American can likely think up some one word answer to this question and a large percentage of these answers would likely be freedom, even though freedom isn 't as uncommon as it has been in the past and freedom is no longer the groundbreaking, revolutionary idea that sets America apart from the rest of the world. It is entirely possible that a large majority of the world 's population that aren 't American can also answer this question with little trouble, although, these answers are likely worlds apart from the answers that the average American would give. With a question such as this, perspective is everything, that special something that makes an American an American is dependent on the political views and affiliation of those answering the question. It is safe to assume that many Americans have a lofty opinion of themselves and of their country, but the same attitude regarding the greatness of America and the
Immigration is the key to diversity in the United States. The United States (U.S.) opened its borders and shores many years ago, allowing foreign nationals into the country. Foreign nationals refer to the U.S. as “the land of opportunity”; this belief drives foreign nationals to migrate to the country. Foreign nationals must register with the U.S. government and obtain the proper documentation to become legal U.S. citizens. Illegal immigrants and/or undocumented workers are foreign nationals that do not register with the U.S. government upon entering the U.S., or they overstay the allotted time of their temporary nonimmigrant visas. Illegal immigrant and/or undocumented workers receive the same benefits as U.S. citizens such as health, public housing, and educational often while avoiding paying state and federal taxes. The U.S. government must do a better job of monitoring the status foreign nationals.
Everyday, the United States has issues with the society, government, political issues, and environmental issues. One important topic that stands out for everyone is illegal immigration. So why does the U.S have problems with illegal immigration? Thoughts and opinions are all generated around the fact that the benefits the United States offer for the surrounding countries attract legal and illegal immigrants. Health benefits, medical emergency care, and schooling are a few subjects these immigrants target in the U.S.
But if I get elected president I will bring it back bigger and better and stronger than ever before, and we will make America great again” (Here’s Donald…).
The President of the United States of America’s slogan is “Make America Great Again” in order to do this, people must look back at the past. America’s past is full of hard times, good times, and hopeful times, but the people would not know this without studying history. Without studying history people would never know the hope America still has. America has been through many tough times considering the wars, terrorist attacks, natural disasters, and moments like The Great Depression. Being able to go through all these hard times and still make it out should give Americans hope.
Today, nearly 12 million of our fellow Americans are unemployed. Our hardest hit communities are struggling to hold on. The trend is not reversing. Government has not taken strong enough action. So what can we do about it?
The type of candidate I would vote for would be someone that is responsible and take care of our nation. Everyone should feel safe and have no fear in our country. Also a leader that would make America great again. “We did not come to fear the future. We came here to shape.” Barack Obama (http://www.infoplease.com) America does not have to be perfect it needs to be safe so people does not have to worry.
Is higher education necessary to succeed in life? The answer is: Probably Yes. As Hsun stated “Learning, nothing is more profitable than to associate with those who are learned.” (Hsun Tzun 550) Higher Education gives the people the necessary knowledge that is require to live a more successful life.” Learning should not be ceased” (Hsun Tzun 546) meaning that learning should be the first priority of everyone. College education is the key to success. It helps people to open many doors of opportunity and allows people to open new paths for the future. As Gardner quoted that, “The people who are our students don’t really want the education. They want the education provides for them-better jobs, moving up in their career, the ability to speak up in meeting, that kind of student.”(Howard Gardner 623) College Education is a necessary ingredient for a good career and a comfortable life style. Without Higher Education, people will not accomplish their goals. In the process of getting higher education, people will get the knowledge necessary to succeed. More importantly, higher education is supposed to give people the necessary skills or experience need it for any career. Is everyone having access to Higher Education? Why not? No I don’t think so. These are the reasons; Budget cuts, State Funding is declining, Economy crisis, Tuition, Students debts, Low Income Class, Uncompetitive Education and Minorities.
The amount of dangerous drugs and gangs coming into the country is in substantial amounts and are not stopping! They won’t stop unless we do something about it. If we ban illegal immigration, illegalize sanctuary cities, and put more security on the Southern Border, then the United States will benefit in our economy and be safer without dangerous people and drugs in our country.
While immigration for our country is good the ability to become a legal citizen has become insanely hard therefore leading immigrants to illegally cross our border, which negatively impacts our country.
When I was a child, I began to write the sentences from the pictures. Maybe, I was lack of imagination at that time, so I couldn’t make out a few words even when I tried my best. Later, I wrote the narration that was boring. I always did not know what to write. I still remember, one night I was struggling with writing. The writing topic was “the happiest day”. I was happy when I got an “A” on math test, made new friends and so on. I had all the happiest things but I just didn’t know how to write it down. So mom told me something, she said: “life is like an empty box and you should read books to make it full.” So for writing, I have the following ways I write best: first, making friends with books because books are the knowledge of the
