People should have guns only for protection because when you call the police they won’t be there in just a matter of seconds. Criminals love gun control because it makes their job safer. If people don’t have guns to protect themselves against these criminals then criminals can get away with everything. But before one gets a gun they should do research on guns and educate themselves on how to be safe handling a gun and how to properly use a gun and how to store a gun in the proper way and place. Being a safe gun owner is a big responsibility. Possessing a gun should not be a transgression, it should be a privilege. This all matters because society should think more about people’s safety for the future and not just for the moment. Murders happen because lack of safety and the safety a person needs could be a gun.
