The conspiracy theory of Area 51 is true because there has been multiple sightings of extraterrestrial things that have happened in that area throughout the years. Area 51 is located in a desert approximately 100 miles north of Las Vegas, Nevada. Area 51 is also known as the “Groom Dry Lake” because the base is located on a dried up lake, area 5 is a restricted military facility that the government will not discuss because it is top secret. Ever since they built the base the government keeps denying its existence. There are a bunch of conspiracies in this world and there's a few on the tragedy that happened on September 11, 2001. One of the theories is that inside traders knew about the attacks before they happened. As said in an article, “in the days before 9/11 there was a huge increase in the number of put options purchased on their airlines, compared to the normal average daily volume.”(Davis) Before I explain what that means the article also mentioned, “ this huge increase in the volume of put options suggests that the people buying these put options knew in advance that 9/11 was about to happen.” (Davis) What the quotes are saying, is that a few days before 9/11, out of nowhere, there was an huge increase in the airlines, that were hijacked, stock markets. There is no doubt that an elaborate underground base exist below the Denver International Airport. What actually is going on down below in this base however is a mystery. When taking a closer look at this airfield it is evident that something weird is going on. “While the most extreme claim maintains that a massive underground facility exists below the airport where an alien race of reptilian humanoids feeds on missing children while awaiting the date of government-sponsored rapture” (Maher 4). The thought of government cover-ups have been long discussed.
