I want to be nothing else but a doctor. I have a thirst for medical challenge, a blazing love for science and human body, and a burning passion to succeed. Most importantly, I have a strong eagerness to make remarkable changes to my life, and the lives of other people. Medicine is both dynamic and centred on a strong scientific background, allowing me to understand and apply medical findings to improve the lives of patients in my care. I believe there is no greater joy than managing to help an extremely ill patient get better, and I would like to bring hope to patients. Besides, my passion and aptitude is foremost scientific and to me, more than 6 years of formal education followed by a lifetime of further learning is a stimulating career and far from monotony. Medical knowledge can be applied whilst interacting with patients and medical staff in a clinical surrounding, further supporting that I am cut out for it as I enjoy working with different people. Various relevant work experiences have taught me much about the career, and identified qualities and skills that I possess. My work there ranged from assisting the doctor in performing examination, endoscopy and ear washing, to dispensing drugs and patient registration. The privilege of having such an invigorating profession has been demonstrated by the doctor's motivation and interest in her cases. This was brought to the fore by a kid who had problem hearing. The doctor was able to concentrate on the examination whilst explaining to his anxious parents that it was all because of excess ear wax build-up.
