Is testing on animals helping our environment? Thanks to the study of animals. We have now accomplished on finding many cures for humans who are in need of saving. Animals being used in research has increased percentage of humans being able to be healed. For example, animals suffer from similar diseases like humans. Furthermore, humans share 95% of our genes with certain animals that makes them perfect models for the human body. Also, animals from mices to monkeys have the same organs and organs system as humans. Additionally, many veterinary medicines are the same as those used in humans. One reason others feel that researching on animals is a bad idea because they do not get provided with pain relief after a experiment. Admitly, yes they do go thru pain during a experiment but if they do get provided with it, It would be expected to disrupt the experiment. For instance, determining which experiments may permissibly cause pain and distress in laboratory animals, and deciding how that pain may be minimized or managed, requires clear ethical reasoning as well as the best available knowledge of animal biology and behavior. Although, not giving a lab animal a pain relief could also be helpful in many ways. To explain, recognizing when animals are in pain presents a challenge that could clarify and tell us how we can manage and control the pain that could help us improve our medicines for later use.Therefore, not using pain relief on a testing animal is really helping us in the long run. Lastly, animals being used in research has played a big role over the decades. As you can see ,thanks to the study of animals, primarily in mice, cancer survivors rates continued to rise.
