Animal Captivity Pros And Cons

Ever since earliest animal-domestication by humans, there has been a unique relationship between animals and humans. Initially, humans are interested in keeping animals under control, which can be seen from many examples, for example: at the zoo and aquaria we keep them in certain small areas to show people for educational and entertainment purposes. There are many debates about whether people should keep animals in captivity or not. Although, it has many beneficial effects on various aspects, nothing is perfect, it also has pros and cons. Its pros are people get to see various species of animals in one place that they do not usually get to see outside of zoo area, also animals are somewhat safe in zoo because they do not have to face dangerous

Also the fact that almost every zoo around world needs to be improved in certain way, supports the second perspective best. Although, both two perspectives are true in different ways people should not be biased in one idea. The only main goal is to improve the animals living environment, and to prevent any possibility that could lead to an extinction of any animal species, and protect their rights as a living individual like a human. Certain requirement must be placed upon every zoo all over the world. Immediate action should be taken from now, otherwise it may be too late to do anything. An action to bolster empathy of all the people on earth to save animals would be a decent idea to have everyone’s support. This is not a one person’s or a single organization’s work but all humankind’s empathic duty toward our neighbor animals. At the end of the day, we all live in the same home called earth. First of all, it is crucial to improve animals living condition in zoos or aquaria. Second, put more effort on saving endangered species, and last but not least, start educating people by creating a program to help them show love toward animals from kindergarten to college and furthermore in their life. Therefore, every person will help and love animals every time they see them for the rest of their life. There should be no more animal abuse, and no more species should go
