Andragogy comes from the Greek word means the man leading. This term was first used in 1833 by Alexander Knapp, a German educator. Andragogy term was refer to any technique or method that describes on how adults learn. This term was popularized by Malcolm Knowles (1913 - 1997), an American educator. Knowles defined the term as "the art and science of helping adults learn" . Andragogy also known as adult learning theory. According to Malcolm Knowles adult learning is based on the concept of self-directed and autonomous learners. Teachers only facilitator in learning. Learning process may be different from each others depending on situation, experience, aptitude and attitude. Malcolm Knowles theory of Andragogy has six principles.

Adult will use their knowledge, life experience and errors in learning process as guidance. People learn better by experience it. In my nursing career, after deal with a certain case, I will reassess back my strengths and weaknesses when dealing the situation, so that if such case happens again in the future I could handle it better.

3.Adults are goal orientated.
Adult are goal orientated. Adult need to know why they need to learn something before undertaking to do it because it will help to decide what is important to be learn and how it will benefit them.For example in nursing field, the nurses know by attending course or continues nursing education they will gain more knowledge and skills that would help them in their carrier.

4.Adults are relevancy orientated.
Adults are relevancy orientated,they need to know the reason first in order to learn something because adults are more interested in learning something related to their life or work.The benefit will encouragement them to learn. As an example, nurses must give health education according to patient condition or disease, to attract them to listen in order for them to understand their
