A full scale re-imaging of Universals Pictures seminal 1932 film , The mummy is a
rousing , humorous, suspenseful and horrifying epic about an expedition of treasure

The Mummy Returns is a continuation to the original Mummy. This film stars the
same cast as the first Mummy except the couples young son played by Freddie Boath. In
this film the special effects are great. With all the mummies that are created and the way
that they are visually shown on the screen is a master piece. The Scorpion King played by
Dwayne Johnson is a new character added to this film too. This movie was very comical
in ways also. Every fight scene had some kind of comical content in it .
The movie started out by Brendan Fraser and his wife in the film Rachel Weisz
and son in a tomb looking for hidden treasures. They found the vault of the Scorpion
King
in this tomb. Rachel Weisz shows flashbacks of her former life in this scene of the movie.
She was a Kings daughter that was the protector of this vault. They find this box that has
the scorpion Kings bracelet in it. They take it home and there son Freddie Boath puts it
on
and awakes the Scorpion King. If not taken off within 7 days he would be sucked dry of
the air he was breathing. At the same time the original mummy was being brought back to
life so he could fight the Scorpion King and become ruler of the army and take over the
world. The movie continues on with adventures that bring the mummy and Brendan
Fraser and his family in great fight scenes that include great special effects. With the days

The story of The Martian focuses on the obstacles botanist and astronaut Mark Watney must overcome to survive on the planet Mars. His adventure is filled with fictional and non-fictional elements that are most likely difficult for the normal individual to identify what is actually realistic and what is simply fantasy. After taking a closer look, this film contains a lot more realism to actual science and space travel today. This paper will closely analyze and discuss three accuracies and inaccuracies of the film in relation to the content discussed in ESS 102 lectures, labs, and assignments.

What makes a person a hero? Is it strength and humility or is it simply the courage? In the movie The Mummy, Rick O’Connell can be compared to Odysseus in the movie The Odyssey. Rick and Odysseus have to face many challenges in order to survive. Rick and Odysseus face challenges in many different ways while being tested or simply fighting to the end. They do whatever they can so that they are able to survive. Rick and Odysseus have to sacrifice things like their family and money if they want to survive. Both of these heroes have significant qualities such as strength, courage, and the ability to conquer challenges. Although, they both have positive qualities about them, they have negative ones also. Both of them struggle from selfishness. Rick only thinks about himself when he wants the treasure. Odysseus shows selfishness when he does not fight for his men only for himself. While both of these characters show only true remorse for themselves they also can be caring and courageous for others. Rick is the true hero over Odysseus because he shows more hero figure qualities on his hero’s journey.

Society is a result of our interactions, and society guides our interactions. This all stems from social construction. Social construction conveys values, ideas and traditions. These values, ideals and traditions are created and become traditions that are then passed on. These traditions then come to be perceived as natural rather than cultural, which is often how media will display it and society unknowingly accepts.
Though the storyline often takes back seat to the special effects and fight sequences, it...
The art or science of the picture that photographer put into the scene in the film is that The Matrix is set in a dystopian advanced, world where computer machines have taken over the world. The computers oppress human’s to generate electronic power by their brains and body heat to power them in the absence of the Sun. Looking to the point where by Neo gets the truth and decided to go deeper into the Rabbit Whole to find the truth if he is “The One”, by joining Morpheus and Trinity. We see that The Oracle who predicted that Neo is The One to end the war between humans and machines. I can emphasis that by putting the scene where by Agents kill Neo before even escaping The Matrix. Neo is then recharged by a kiss from Trinity in the real world
