The renewal of America starts with William Clinton stating his objectives on how America together will comeback from the Cold War and boost their economy to once what it was before. He states how January 20th, 1993 is such an important day in the history of the United States because it will go into the books as known as the Renewal of America. William says that, "To renew America we must be bold. We must do what no generation has had to do before. We must invest in our own people, in their jobs, and in their future, and at the same time cut our massive debt... and we must do so in a world in which we must compete for every opportunity. It will not be easy. It will require sacrifice, but it can be done, and done fairly." This part of his speech to me is the vocal point in his speech. We have the strongest military, we have strongest government in the world, plus we have freedom. The American people aren't forced to believe a certain religion, it's a free country, unlike the majority of the rest of the world where there is a dictatorship. But America too still has some problems that we had in the past. Currently we are facing a terrorist group called ISIS. We are currently in battle with this group who has caused many problems in our world. They have attacked not just our country, but other countries around the world. Another problem we face is our debt continues to rise. We are about $18.3 trillion dollars in debt currently. Every single president that we've had for the past years has said that they would lower the debt, but it still has not been lowered. The government continues to spend money which causes the debt to continually get higher. Our country needs to solve these problems that have continued to get worse throughout the
