Tourism is a major source of foreign income/exchange which contributes to economic growth .

The main activities that tourists indulge in are game trails/game drives, nature activities and enjoying South Africa’s coastal destinations.
Game drives can be done in day and night time in most game reserves. Most of South Africa’s natural attractions have developed into small organizations with facilities like braai areas, camping, ablution blocks and guided day tours.

ASA is made up of students from Kenya, Congo, Ghana, Uganda, Nigeria, and many others, it was so cool to see them altogether representing the “Motherland.” Even though this was an African Food Festival they attracted in a diverse crowd, yet Africa was represented very well from beginning to the end. As it concerned to food, I was excited because I had never had African food. It was so delicious! They had dishes of food from various countries in Africa, it was amazing to try something new.
