“The sanctuary of school” by Lynda Barry Lynda Barry demonstrates her childhood experiences on the essay, “the sanctuary of school”, specifying how crucial schools are for children: especially neglected children like herself. Once, she walked alone to her school in a dark morning due to overwhelmed of parents’ financial issue conflicts.
