From the movie that we had watch which was entitled Honor thy Father, it was a very unexpected, unpredictable and an uncommon type of movie. It was unexpected for I have no any idea on what the movie is all about and it turns out it has a lot of scenes that caught my attention. Scenes where things happened like what it used to and what I got used to be and ending up it didn't happened which is very unusual in movies. The movie is about the real life or what really happens to people which is uncommon for a film. The director, Erik Matti, did a great job in portraying the real life situations in the movie and the usual circumstances of people. It escalated from a dull scenes to full emotions type of scenes. After the part when there was someone murdered and the people who invested their money to them became angry and threatened them. That is where everything started to turn down. In the scene that Edgar was being beaten up by the people, I felt very sorry and upset on the situation that they are facing. His wife Kaye was still very faithful with her belief in their church that the Lord will never abandoned them will help them in the challenges that they are facing. Though it is right to have faith in the Lord and let Him be with you always, we must also do our part so we can achieve the goal that we are dreaming or conquer the challenges or problems that we are facing. It was different with Kaye, she let the Lord do everything for her and so the burden was so much for Edgar. There was the part where a stranger picked up their daughter and tried to threaten them by giving them 2 week to pay their debts. At this point the pressure was too much for Edgar can see the desperation with him to overcome the problems they were facing. He did a lot of stuff that seems to be very unnecessary to do but because of their situation he was forced to do it like when he bought a gun from his friend and tried to rob a bank, but in the end he failed.
