Recommended: Technology and human relationships

Robots are not a better, cleaner breed than humans are. The reason for this being is that as they get more powerful they can do more dangerous things and will become smarter than human beings.

In the story “Little Lost Robot” Nestor 10 was able to hide from Dr. Calvin. He had a modified first law that allowed him to not hurt a human but he didn’t have to go out of his way to save it. If people started messing with the laws of robotics then a lot of people could be endangered because robots are very powerful, smart machines.

Robots could end up being “to nice”. For example in the story “Liar” Herbie is a robot that can read minds and of course everyone wants to know everything that people are hiding from them. When people ask him questions
