I am doing my future job report based on a Private Missing Person Investigator, also known as a Detective, which is a person who basically helps find anybody that has once been a part of a cold case, a run-away, kidnapped, or eve sold children who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. This career caught my by watching a movie called “Prisoners”, it’s about 2 little girls about the age of 5 (Alyssa & Marcie) on Thanksgiving Day they go to their neighbors (Marcie’s House) to celebrate with them, but that’s when it goes downhill . . . the children being abducted while playing outside! As the movie continues they hire a detective to find Marcie and Alyssa. While, the detective finds Marcie but no sign of Alyssa, only to go back the accusers house and finding the accused sticking a shot in Alyssa’s arm which was a Lethal Dose of Sedative, the detective stops half of the dose not going into the little girl, while being shot at having a near death experience with a wound close to the brain but dodges it at the perfect timing while being able to save both of the girls and him as well! This may sound scary and look scary but it also saves tortured kids, sold kids, or even worse. I will do it not just because people tell me to but to help this world, I may not make a big change in the world, but a change that will make people say, “because of her I have my child again,” or “ because of her this world is allot better.” I will be the change the people want and need, even if it means risking my life for a child/teen/ or adult!

I would love to pursue my career in being a detective due to helping people by solving cases, saving people, or finding a loved one whom was lost or taken. I want to show that earth is not all filled with people as some may think and I will be the one to make that difference, because my goal in life is to help people who have helped me, or even to help people who don’t deserve it, even if it means risking my life for innocent people, or helping people with bad habits, I will be there to help and I will be the one to make the change I want to see in the world and have my name knows for helping and saving people because good people still exist!
Crime Scenario: This case is about a missing 9 year old boy who lives with his mother, younger sister, and his mother 's boyfriend. The child has been missing for over 24 hours and the boyfriend seems very protective of the mother and answers most of the questions about the disappearance. The scene is overwrought with the media, neighbors, and volunteers offering to help with the search for the missing boy.
I would like to be a Forensic Science Technician, simply because I find this kind of stuff interesting. A Forensic Science Technician does many things. Four things they do are run ballistics tests on guns to find the one used in a bank robbery; collect evidence from a crime scene to help understand the chain of events; match DNA samples to reunite a long lost child to his/her family; and solve a crime by matching fingerprints at the crime scene to a suspect. One of the top reasons I would join this career is because I want to be able to solve a crime if someone needs help. The second top reason I would join this career is because I watched CSI all the time before I got too busy with school, but I still watch it when I can. I think I would like this job because I always found it interesting to watch CSI and figure out how they solved the case. I also like to guess on who done what and why did they do it.
On February 27th, 2014 I had the pleasure to interview Detective Vincent Velazquez who was referred to me by Professor Paul Guerrucci. Vincent currently works at the Atlanta Police Department located in 226 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, GA 30303. On the day of the interview, I was a little anxious since this was actually the first time I interview a crime investigator, however Vincent was very professional and he allowed me to record the entire conversation. I was able to ask questions about his personal life, full details of his profession, current case assignments, criminal investigation procedures and existing problems in the investigation process.
I will strive to my goal and if I don’t make it then it wasn’t meant to be. Works Cited Become a Homicide Detective: Step by Step Career Guide. " N.p., n.d. Web. The Web. The Web.
I chose to research the profession of a homicide detective. This profession interests me because I find solving a puzzle satisfying, by picking up the pieces (evidence) and fitting them together I can solve the mystery of the homicide. This of course is something I will have to work toward, as I cannot become one right out of the gate. First I will have to be a police officer. I have to be a police officer first because I need to gain experience in the criminal justice world and with victims/ suspects. Depending on the town I choose to pursue my career in I could have to start as a patrol officer or at a jail. I am doing things now to try and set myself apart from other candidates so if the time does ever come for a promotion I can be one step
January 13, 1996, nine-year-old Amber Rene Hagerman was abducted while riding her bicycle in Arlington, Texas. That afternoon, Amber, and her brother were at their Grandparents house. Amber Hagerman, and her five-year-old brother, Ricky, pedaled their bicycles to an abandoned grocery store. This was a typical place for children to ride their bikes because it was an abandoned parking lot with lots of room to play and ride. Minutes later, Ricky turned to head back home, about a block away. Jim Kevil, a 78-year-old retiree, stood in his backyard not far...

I ended up joining the group of more individuals that wanted to be the hero that one day would ‘save the day.’ Not in the sense of being that one superhero that every little kid looks up to, but knowing that I wanted to be part of a team that helped bring justice to each family that has lost someone. Most of my family is working or has worked in the criminal justice field from state troopers and prison guards to probation officers. So it’s almost like I 'm destined to do this kind of thing. I feel like I have to carry on the family’s pattern with going into law
Introduction I. A career that I have always been interested in is forensic anthropology. Well, you can’t consider it always it actually all started with a TV show that my parents watch way too much, Bones. Bones is about a forensic anthropologist who helps the Jeffersonian solve murder cases. She is the best forensic anthropologist in the world and as she solves all of these cases she displays her ability to learn to adapt and solve riddles at a ridiculous rate. This gave me an unrealistic fantasy about how amazing and fast paced the job is so, I chose this topic to bring that fantasy into something more realistic and maybe if I work hard enough I can make it a reality. So to make it more realistic I will outline my path to get there following three main points the career information, the schooling requirements and my future lifestyle. This might just make me one step closer to changing this fantasy into reality.
Volunteering made me find my career plan in sociology / Social Worker. With a college degree in one of these areas, I hope to impact my community in ways. First, with the knowledge from college, I hope to counsel with young people& adults. In today's society, there are so many negative things that influence adults & young people. I want to help them understand the importance of setting goals and striving to become great citizens. I also want to give them a sense of hope that with perseverance, they can become great role models for other adults &young people by
Have you ever wanted to become a first-class, famous detective? Where do you go to get started? How do you find mysteries to solve?
It would be fulfilling to be a police officer because police officers help people in the community and keep it safe. They also enforce the law. They are the reason why people can live their lives in peace. If there is anyone in the community that citizens can trust it would be the police officers.
My grandfather was a police officer when he was younger; he would tell us stories of he and his buddies on motorcycle patrol and the life of a cop. The stories that he told were so interesting, that ever since, I wanted to have a career in law enforcement. After I graduated from high school, I enrolled in the law enforcement program at Spokane Community College where I planned to fulfill my dream of becoming a cop. I started the law enforcement classes at the college and came to the conclusion that law enforcement was not the career for me.
For my career opportunity project, I have chosen to take a look at the profession
Criminal investigators are professionals in the law enforcement team who try to solve crimes, prevent the occurrence of future crimes, and searching and detaining suspects. The two categories of criminal investigators are private and public criminal investigators. The level of training that these professionals go through is different which leads us to the differences between public and private criminal investigations.
